We saw that the big hail was starting to slide Southeast, so we headed back down to Spearfish, SD and positioned ourselves ready to take on the storm.
Here are a few shots that we took as we were heading south back to Spearfish before getting into town.

The storm highway continues across the Northern Plains. Here is a shot of the supercell as it headed east towards Rapid City, South Dakota. This cell produced the dime to up to golf ball sized hail in Spearfish, South Dakota.
