The morning northern lights show gave us some amazing pictures, and an experience that we will never forget!
We went northwest of Dickinson, North Dakota to the heart of the badlands and the Buttes to shoot the northern sky.
An intense G4 storm with a KP index of 8 led to an unforgetable sky over the open butte county of North Dakota. The aurora's danced and put on a display like no other.
We listened to the several packs of coyotes howling and yelping in the dark; in 3 different locations in the rugged terrain of the area.
The trees and the buttes made for a wonderful backdrop to the skies above this timeless region.
The night was just simply AWE.... and inspiring.
It was one that Nick and I will never forget!
